These 2 play finish the sentence and would you rather, but mostly argue about the rules. Along the way they debate what counts as properly British, whether ThunderCats beats a low-budget Channel 5 film, The Lion King versus CGI, and how Sylvester Stallone got Rocky made, before settling the big one: Matthew McConaughey or Steven Bartlett as CEO?

00:00Welcome to These Two Shouldn't Have a Podcast. Coming up today, Carl loves the Thundercats.

00:07Well, I did as a kid, not now. That doesn't matter. So it's your favourite cartoons all the time? Yes. Or whatever weird eclectic mix of crap that Channel 5 decided to show as little shitty feature films that never made the cinemas. If blockbusters were still around, would never have gone to videotape. Right, I've got you.

00:30Which cartoons? Well, you've got to tell me what you like. So it's the cartoon that you grow up with, or you would still watch now.

00:38Thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder, cats. Oh, there you go.

00:43Movie.

01:17I have got to finish the sentences. Oh no. Here we go. Come on then. Bring it on. No, no, some they're fine. They're not like really bad. They're not you ready. The worst type of person is somebody who.

01:36Oh, I'm supposed to answer that.

01:38Should we go through the rules of the game again? Right, so you're just gonna ask me half a sentence and I've got to finish it off.

01:44No, I'm gonna s I no, I'm not gonna ask you. There's no question mark at the end of it, right? It's not a question. Right. It is it's a statement that's half finished. So I'm finishing. Yeah. You're finishing off. So I say the first bit and then I'll look at you with anticipation. Right. Hoping that you'll then fill it with some inspirational gold or something, right?

02:07Yeah, you're probably not gonna get that, but yeah, okay, okay. Let's go. Try again. We could go with the same one, or maybe I'll just pick it up. No, go with the same go with the same one. I can't remember what the same one was to be fair, but yeah, let's go.

02:18Right, you ready? I'll try, I'll try to be.

02:24The worst type of person is someone who never finishes the sentence.

02:33You know that

02:37can I be a go?

02:40No. Yeah, okay. Look, you want the same question? Yeah, okay. The worst quite I can't even say it. Right, here we go. The worst type of person is somebody who can't fucking get the sentence out.

02:57There you go. Right, okay. Next. No, I've got it. I've got the idea now. Do you understand? We've had the dry run. Yeah. Right? You you okay? I'm not going in dry.

03:07I'm not going in dry anyone.

03:10No dryness now. Yeah. The most British thing I've ever done is.

03:16Used a telephone box.

03:21One of the red telephone boxes. But you didn't say that in the first level. You just said used a telephone box. There are telephone boxes in every fucking country. So why is that a British? Because. You mean the red telephone boxes, the old post box telephone boxes. Yeah, but I didn't want to say post box because I didn't know that's what they were. They were. They were just telephone boxes. Did you not know that the post office used to own all of the telephone shit?

03:49Owned by BT.

03:52Before BT? Oh didn't know that. Right. You know those you know that this is a British thing now, right? You know, you know the um like the concrete cover grids with like a little black plaque in the middle, it says GPO. Have you never wondered what GPO stands for? No. General Post Office. Yeah, but they've sold it now. I know, but it used to be. But how did you not know that? Why do I need to know? Did you never wonder why there were red telephone boxes and red post boxes? No. From a branding perspective, did you not quick and think, oh no, why is that red? But I don't need to know that. I don't need to know it, but I do. Right, okay. Anyway, right, okay. Anyway. That was hard work. Well, you started it. I'm gonna change it up a bit now. Yeah. Right. Would you rather never be able to whisper again or never to be able to shout again? Ooh. I think shout. So if you could not shout, you would rather not be able to shout. Yeah. So as an you can't shout at anything. Yeah. You can't. So what if you're drowning? In the sea. You're out there.

05:08Help!

05:09Yeah.

05:10You're gonna fucking die.

05:12Don't you think it's dangerous not to be able to shout? No, not really. Whereas how how useful is whispering? Again, you're drowning in the sea. Help!

05:20As opposed to Okay, yeah, okay. But you're at a funeral when you're watching someone, but you need to say something to someone. Right. Just talk. Well you can't talk, can you? Yeah, you can talk. No. Talk quietly. Yeah, but you just said I can't whisper. No, exactly. You can't whisper, but you can talk quietly. Yeah, but okay then. So how loud can I talk? Am I talking too loud now? Well, that is just talking loudly. So my loudly might not be shouting then. So I might be able to say help, I'm drowning. Yeah, but you wouldn't be able to shout it though, would you? But you might not be able to shout it. But if you're shouting it drowning anyway, you're probably swallowing water anyway. So you put like that.

06:01Alright, let's say that a building collapses on you. Yeah. And like the emergency services are saying, Paul, Paul, where are you? But I don't know why I whispered then because it doesn't matter anyway.

06:12Because I've got I've got a building crushing my lungs anyway. No, but I'm not going to be able to shout anyway.

06:17I'm down here. You'd shout. You'd shout to me. I'm here, mate. No, no, no. It's dangerous not to be able to shout. Not being able to whisper doesn't matter.

06:26Well, you asked me the question. And I'd prefer to not be able to shout.

06:30Alright then, fine. You're not allowed to shout anymore. Okay. Alright, fair enough. Right. Bit glad you asked that one, aren't you? Would you rather fight a cat with wings or a snake with legs? Cat with wings. Um would you rather fight one? In other words, do you think you've got better chances at killing a cat with wings than a snake with legs? Oh, actually, poisonous snake with legs.

06:55Oh see, now you're just adding to it. But I I'm gonna go cat because I don't like cats. Cats are for witches.

07:02Yeah, but you so you'd rather fight a cat. So you you're on this weird funky desert island in an alternative universe, right? And and you've got to choose an animal, right? It's they basically say you're gonna starve, you're gonna die, and the only animals that the aliens or whatever the gods can put on that island are a snake with legs that you've got to try and chase down and fucking kill and eat, or a cat with wings. You're gonna pick a cat with the big thing. I've got to eat both of them. Well, yeah, you've got to be able to kill it though first. But you why do I have to eat them? Not eat them both. You get to choose. They basically say, right, this is not a difficult concept. There's two kill it to eat. Well, yeah, yeah, because yeah, you've got to but you've got to be able to kill it first. If you're shit scared of something, you're not gonna be able to kill it, so you're gonna die. It's not to do with taste profiling. You've got no other salt and vinegar and shit on the island. It's just literally.

08:03But the steak's poisonous, the cat isn't.

08:05But where's it store its poison?

08:08Well, I don't know. I don't know because you just threw it in there. It's a poisonous steak. The cat's not gonna kill me, is it? I don't know. Well, it's not really the cat with wings. Yeah, so it's just gonna fly off then. So we're gonna be able to catch it anyway. No, it's gonna try and fucking kill you. How? With the wings. Because the cat's probably spawning to that.

08:25Because the cat's also probably got in its head, right? I've got to fucking eat Paul, or I'm gonna die. So the cat's gonna be coming at you. Yeah, but the cat's gonna be trying to kill you.

08:33Yeah, but the snake with this question. The snake only has to sort of nick me and I'm dead because it's poisonous. With the with the cat, it can it can scratch me. But that's not gonna kill me.

08:45So I can grab hold of it and give it to someone else. And you reckon you can do that with a winged cat. Have you tried catching a cat with no wings?

08:52No, no, because I don't like cats.

08:55So But I'm not I'm not going anywhere near a poisonous snake. Okay. So you don't like snakes either? Are you just shit scared of everything?

09:05No. I just don't like animals, to be honest. I'm not an animal person.

09:11Well, I don't like cats with wings, but then I mean all right, fair enough. But yeah. Interesting. Yeah. Interesting. See, I I I thought you were more of a I'd I'd I'd attack the snake. I could get the snake. Yeah. Rather than I could get a cat with wings. Because a cat with wings you'd never fucking catch.

09:26I don't understand why it wouldn't just fly to another island and listen after.

09:33But you did say desert island in your in your concept. Anyway, let me ask you one. Right, go on. Would you rather have no tech?

09:47Or die. Go on.

09:52Not be able to use your phone for a week.

09:55So but Paul. Is a phone tech?

10:03Okay.

10:06It is, but it's not like it's not like a computer. Okay.

10:10Would you rather have no money to spend or no money in your bank account? Yeah, okay. Okay.

10:15Would you rather have no MacBook PC?

10:20That's two different things.

10:22I know, but I'm I'm sort of branding.

10:24Would you rather have no Ford Voxall? It's like, well no, pick what.

10:29No, because if I turn around and say we have no MacBook, you'll go, okay, yeah, I'll just have a Google one. Right. So what I'm saying is No laptop type device. Yes. Or PC device. So rather have no computer. No computer. Or no phone.

10:47Am I allowed an iPad? No. Because that comes under computer and phone. Really? Technically.

10:56It's a big phone. Um how long have we got to do without it? Forever. Forever. Forever. That's not possible.

11:06Why?

11:13And if you don't choose one, you're dead tomorrow.

11:16Alright.

11:20I'll just wait till I'm tomorrow and I don't have to make such a hard choice.

11:29I'd rather have a laptop device. Well, okay. Because I don't like people. No. I find it rude when people ring. See go for the phone. No, why? You can do everything and much more. I've been sitting there YouTube.

11:48I no, I'd see. So there's a bit of logic in my madness. So I go with the phone. I keep the phone. Why? Because I can stream it, I can put it on TV. So? So then I can use my phone like a laptop.

12:05You can do everything. On that, I can do everything I want to do. The only thing I can't easily do is take phone calls without my laptop being open. That suits me. Because I hate it when people ring me. Okay. And that's why that's your choice. So very good. Big screen, keyboard, I can do WhatsApp on that. I can do all the socials on that. I can I can record podcasts.

12:30You can't do WhatsApp, can you? You'd have to give up the podcast. Yeah, but you can't do WhatsApp. Yes, I can. You can't, because you wouldn't have a phone number. But you said phone, you didn't say sim. Obviously, phone comes with numbered and stuff. No, we know what? Yeah. Phone comes with a number. Yeah, of course it does.

12:50When you get a when you get a number, is the numbers associated with the sim card.

12:53Uh oh, here we go. I've asked a techie question to a techie dude, and he's going all round it and defensive over his team.

13:02It was just a straightforward question. There's no such thing as a straightforward question. Right, the straightforward answer is I'd go with my laptop.

13:13There you go. That's all you had to say. I just said I'd go for the phone because I can just put it on a big screen. Sorry, Dad.

13:19I can put my laptop on a big screen.

13:21You can.

13:21Well done. Right, what are all the things that you think this is interesting? This is exposing now how technically minded you are.

13:28Okay.

13:30Give me a list of things that you think that you can do with your phone that you think, or as far as you're concerned, you don't think you can do with a laptop. So now you're you're trying to you're trying to convince me now why the phone is the much better option than the laptop, right? Well, I'd use my phone because I can do this, and then and and I'll tell you whether technically actually you you you're deluded.

13:54Yeah. Well, I'm not gonna win this argument with a tech dude, to be honest. But I'm genuinely taking the phone, right? Just because of ease for me. That's why I'm taking the phone.

14:08Ease in what way though?

14:09It's in my pocket.

14:11Alright, so it's the size. No.

14:13No.

14:14So you prefer small things?

14:15No, well, that's how I am. Half of my belly and my face. I'm a small guy. You know what I mean? But anyway, don't twist the question. It was a straightforward question. Would you rather your laptop or your phone? You've picked your laptop. Let's move on.

14:33Alright, fair enough. How are you gonna do the podcast with just your phone? You've got a laptop. It's got a camera on it. Alright, fair enough. Yeah. Valid point. Yeah. Actually, I didn't think of that. There you go. I'd I'd say I don't really give a shit. You choose. Yeah. Because I'll borrow yours.

14:49Exactly. That's it, isn't it? Good, good point. Anyway, would you rather go on cartoons? Or films?

15:00You've missed an adjective. Okay. Would I rather what? Oh, watch. Sorry. I did I did miss that.

15:07I did miss watch. Would you rather watch cartoons? As in your favourite cartoon ever, whatever that might be. Or channel five films.

15:18Oh hang on. I've changed it. Channel five films. Yeah, I've changed it. What?

15:22Because the the the proper good films out there.

15:25Channel five.

15:25Yeah, channel channel five films, yeah. You know what that mean? I mean by that, like Hallmark films. Hallmark films? Yeah.

15:33Give me an example of a Hallmark film.

15:35Um stupid Christmas film. That's just the same everywhere in the same. Stupid Christmas film. I don't know names. Happy Christmas, Father Christmas.

15:45Oh, not not like those. I mean, I watched Jingle All the Way.

15:48No. I'm on about I'm on about the lovey dovey ones, you know, where the same actors are in the same films.

15:54Oh, yeah, I know what you mean. The typical Channel 5, the shit that's on in the day.

15:57You can only watch them which are going to be different. Yeah.

16:00Or you can only watch your favourite cartoons. So it's one it's so it's your favourite cartoons all the time. Yes. Or whatever weird eclectic mix of crap that Channel 5 decided to show as little shitty feature films that never made the cinemas. If Blockbusters were still around, would never have gone to this videotape. Right, I've got you.

16:21Which cartoons? Well, you've got to tell me what you like. So it's a cartoon that you grow up with, or you would still watch now.

16:29Thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder, cats. Oh, there you go.

16:34Movies. No, you

16:38cartoons. I mean, I couldn't. Am I allowed to do other things though? So so that's framing I can only watch, but can I still browse the internet and still go on YouTube and shit?

16:47Because you chose your laptop so you can do that, yeah. Um cartoons. Um Thundercats.

16:53Oh well, yeah, Thundercats, um more Thundercats. Um I can't think of any recent ones. Some of the Transformers animated movies, the old the the ones from like the 90s. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Good cars. They were good cartoons. Brave Star.

17:11You must have heard of Brave Star. No, no.

17:13What do you how have you not how have you not heard of Brave Star? What was the theme? As in, what was what was the purpose behind it? What was it? I mean it's like Thundercats were human human cat things with swords trying to kill each other and trying to kill Mumra.

17:28So Bravestar was obviously American, and it was like a space cowboy guy, yeah. And he had a horse, which was like a space robotic horse, which turned it turned into a man. Stop, sorry. Hang on, let me finish. Turned into a man, which had big guns. He was a space cowboy. Yeah, pretty much. Robotic space.

17:50Oh, robotic. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Of course. Robotic space cow cowboy. Okay. Did he have a hat?

18:00Yeah.

18:00He had a hat. Metal hat or a leather hat.

18:03No, well, he wasn't really a space guy. But his horse was. His horse was like a space robot. So a space cowboy with a robot horse. Yeah. But he had special features as well. Of course. He had he had like superpowers as well. Have you dreamt that? No, Bravestar. You made this up. No, no. There was I'm gonna go with about round about 1987-ish. You must have heard it. Was it video? Was it special?

18:32Was it aired on UK TV?

18:34Sky. When Sky came out, it was on. I don't know, might have been, yeah. But he had special powers. So let me tell you, yeah, he had speed of a puma.

18:45What colour was the puma? Black, I suppose. Yeah. But he'd say something like speed of the puma, the puma, puma. Like that. Oh, so he would then he got the speed, right?

18:56Oh, that's how he got the yeah, yeah, he had to transform it. So hang on. So he almost had to summon it, chant it, and then why are you laughing at this, right?

19:06Big knob, big knob, big knob, big knob. Does that not work? So yeah, yeah, anyway, anyway, yeah, speed of the puma. Yeah. Puma. Puma. Not puma.

19:18Yeah.

19:18Puma. That's the way he said it's speed of the puma. Don't forget it's American. Anyway, he had Eyes of the Hawk.

19:28Bet that was inconvenient. At the side of his head. So you could see everything. Oh, so they didn't physically move to the side of his head. Eyes of the hawk, the hawk. The hawk. Oh, the hawk, the hawk, the hawk.

19:39Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Then he had Strength of the Bear. Burr. Bear. And then Ears of the Wolf. I mean.

19:52And wolves got. Are they known for their fucking hearing? Yeah, of course they are. Wolves are known for their hearing. Yeah, why not?

20:01Yeah. Ears of the wolf. I'm sure that's what it is. I'm gonna have to Google it because it was what it's a while ago.

20:07Little Red Riding Hood. Little Red Riding Hood. Yeah. What big eyes you've got, all the better to see you with. It's not what big ears you've got, yeah. So I can fucking hear you.

20:15Yeah, it's just all the better to listen with. Yeah.

20:18Ears of the wolf.

20:19Yeah. So

20:23You must remember that now. You haven't lived if you've not seen Braves. I thought you were making it up. Why? Why is the horse a robot? Because that's w it's the galaxy that he came from. Don't ask me what the galaxy was, I'd have to Google that. I can't remember that.

20:40But he's got a grey horse with a white mane. Yeah, but it's like robots. Arms and legs. So he's just literally like a horse's head on top of a robot. Yeah. With guns. But he's he holding a spear. He was a horse as well. Because that that was one of those. Oh, that's not a spear. That's but it. I don't get it. Why why was it okay? So just can you remember any episodes? Can you remember any foes that they saw off, or was a particular episode that you thought, oh my god, I want to be, what was it? Brave Bravestar. Brave Star. Yeah. I want to be Brave Star because of that. What was the thing that made you think, yeah?

21:13It was just like novelty, wasn't it? It was just like futuristic. It was just yeah.

21:19Bit like He Man. But that that's but hang on. It was futuristic. Yeah. And that's the best you could do from growing up as a kid. Brave Star.

21:2812 years old. Do you know what I mean? It was great.

21:32Thundercats.

21:34They're just like Transformers. Yeah. I mean. But I think everybody, everybody would listen to that, didn't you? Watch that and stuff. It's like for a reason. It was good. It's like only fields and horses, isn't it? Do you know what I mean? I never watched an episode to be honest.

21:50I mean you need to watch an episode, it's good. It's funny.

21:53Oh what's funny about it?

21:55Because it's comedy.

21:56Is it?

21:57Yeah.

21:58Everyone's comedy is different though, isn't it?

22:00I suppose. Yeah, you know what I mean? Was Brave. What's the best cartoon you've watched recently? When you you you looked at it and you thought, that's good. And what about it was good. Are we talking like animation films? Yeah, yeah, because well, and any cartoony type thing. Because animation's changed, it's all technology, it's all CGI.

22:18It is, but my favourite film of all time is an animated one. Go on. It's the Lion King.

22:27That's a traditional animated one. That's I don't think that's a computer animated one, that.

22:31That doesn't matter, does it?

22:32Yeah, it does.

22:33It's look out in. About time that you got into this fucking century. Nothing will beat the Lion King for me.

22:41What's so great about the Lion King? It's just fantastic. I'm not into it. No. Have you seen The Lion King 2? Yeah. Is that any good? Yeah. Yeah, it's okay. Is that is that you do in the Raw? Yeah.

22:56It's I I just enjoyed the film. I enjoy the stage show. I just enjoy everything Lion King.

23:02I mean it's it it it's it's emotional, it's it's cool. Alan John does some of the soundtrack related stuff, doesn't he?

23:09He does.

23:10Which is that's pretty cool. I just yeah, it's not it it wouldn't be if if someone said to me, What's your favourite animated film ever? It's like it's gotta have everything. It's gotta have a bit of sadness, a bit of comedy, and a bit of fun, and it's gotta be It does, it's gotta be technically quite cool as well, and it's gotta be That's all I it's not technically how is it technically cool? Why isn't it? Because it's not look at something like I don't know Toy Story, yeah. You know, it's animated but it's it's it's it's generated on a computer, so it's it's like got perspective and it's very clever and there's Lion King just looks like I've drawn it with a crayon. I've ever hurt you now. Yeah. I'm sorry. It'll be alright. I don't mean it. Kumon Sarah means no worries for the rest of our days. I mean it's look, it's it's alright, but it's a bit dated. It's not it's not uh it's not done well with time, has it? Yeah, isn't it? You just everything I say is just like they're complete opposite. What's your favourite animation? I don't know, I've never never really thought about it. I like that I like ones that are quite clever. So, I mean Toy Story ones are uh very good.

24:23It's a bit a bit much now, isn't it? Toy Story 5. Well yeah I mean it's turning into like I don't know, police academy, innit? There were seven of them. Oh, they were ace. Do you not think they were ace though? The first one or two, yeah. You know, Rocky, Rocky 17, it's like it was a Rocky Five. Do you know what I mean?

24:42It's just actually speaking of Rocky Very Samey, very samey. There's um Do you know about his story? Do you know about his his the how he came to be doing films? Ooh, slightly, yeah. Uh I might have heard about it, but go on, refresh me. From what I remember, from what I was told, and I'm still trying to find the documentary that goes through it all, he did he did tell a bit of it, but he was like down and out, had no fucking money whatsoever, and he was he kept approaching um and he he wrote Rocky, you know, he he he wrote the script for that, right? Um and he I can't remember whether he approached or he got approached by you know recording companies and stuff, and they and he was like saying, Well, you know, I'll I'll sell you this, but I want a feature in it. And they were all basically saying, No, fuck off you. It's like, no, yeah, uh, we'll take it off your hands and we'll pay you a really small value. It wasn't it wasn't a huge amount, but you're not featuring in it, absolutely not. So we just kept going from you know, film companies to film companies, and and by this time, then he's like he's homeless, he's literally got a dog, um, and apparently he sold his dog to some guy because he couldn't afford to feed it, you know, he's that down and out, and then eventually he found I think I think he sold it in the end for a film to a film company, and they lowered the cost so much for him to feature in it. I think it was like 20,000 or something stupid like that, and then it was Rocky, and then obviously it made multi-millions and and the rest is history, but yeah, apparently the story of that is like so so interesting, you know, his resilience to carry on and his commitment to carry on with that no, I'm gonna be in it, it's mine, you're not having it.

26:19Right, yeah. I mean, fair play to him, better than Brave Star. No, I mean you can't compare Rocky to Brave Star to be honest, but you know, I I get I get where you're going. No, I mean fair play to him. I like inspirational, like you know, where people like dig in against the system. Love that, yeah. You know what I mean? It's like, no, one up on the system, nah, you're not you're not controlling me. I'm controlling me. I know I love it. I love all power plays, I love 'em. Power plays, yeah. Power ballads. Yeah, hey, yeah, why not?

26:55Is that what you used to do in the evening when Brave Star came on as a kid?

27:01It was on about four o'clock, but would that be evening? Yeah. Late's afternoon, that's it. Four was evening. Why would time did you go to bed when you were the kid?

27:11Half seven, eight o'clock. Yeah, I did so before.

27:17I did to be fair, yeah.

27:18Yeah, it's evening.

27:22Oh created that programme, you know. I I enjoyed it. I but I mean, could you answer the questions at that age?

27:29Not at that age, but later on I've I've I I could, I could watch it.

27:33I I did laugh though when they go, I'll have a pee, please, Bob. Go to toilet then. But I I didn't understand it though, why there was always one on the roll.

27:41Because then we meant to be the more intelligent one. The one that was going up and down. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

27:51Yeah. It was a four four by five. Yeah. I don't know why I'd scratch my headphones then, because that wasn't my head. Hello. I tried to get my head missed.

28:00What the fuck's it all about? But yeah, TV back in the day. You know.

28:05I think it was great. I I miss it. There's some weirdos are on tell you, didn't they?

28:11There's some weirdos in the fucking room. No, but I mean, back in the day, like there was some weirdos.

28:16I tell you what, it it it shows you just how mood certain predators were because I used to like Rolf's Harris cartoon time. I used to tune into that and I'd and and I'd be there with like pen and paper, and I'd be trying to copy his Rolf a roo and you know, you you're just 100% bought into it, aren't you? Yeah. And it's like, well, yeah, it's grooming you. Yeah. That's scary. Do you not think that's scary? Oh, yeah, yeah.

28:41But uh, you know, it's what did Jimmel fix for you? I wrote him a letter, you know. Fuck off it, yeah. What did you write him? I wanted to meet the Liverpool football team.

28:52Is that what you actually said? Yeah, yeah. That that was it. Yeah. That's not much of an ask, really, that. No? As in and and do what when you met them? Train with them. Oh, so that's that is a big ask. Yeah.

29:04He didn't fix it for me though.

29:05I'm quite glad he didn't, to be honest. But yeah. Anyway. You're broken, you're not fixed yet. Yeah, well let's let's let's park that way. Yeah, that's that's you know what I mean.

29:14Is that what he said?

29:18Anyway, would you rather? Right, let's uh let's do the question the sentence. Finish the sentence. Yeah, come on, let's finish the sentence.

29:29I'm not a tech person because it scares the shit out of me. Right. What celebrity would you trust to run your business for a week?

29:39Oh

29:42that's a great question, that and I think I would go with somebody when we're talking celebrities, are we talking like Tom Cruises of the world? Or are we talking just generally people who might be famous? Sort of like oh right, yeah.

30:01I was gonna take the piss out of your question then, but actually, no, it's a valid question, you know. There's a questionable whether somebody who's in the UK soaps is is a celebrity.

30:13And that's that and that's where I'm going from. Um I mean you only have to look at these like celebrity deal or no deals, and after celebrities you don't know the YouTubers or whatever, you know what I mean.

30:24So who who are you?

30:25Yeah.

30:26Um I'd I'd say interpret the question how Paul would wish to interpret the question. Do with it what you will. So what's my business? If you need me to tell you what your fucking business is, then we're in trouble.

30:41So, okay. So my I'm not a celebrity, so I'm not running your fucking business is celebrity to run my business. And it's my business, it's not just a made-up business.

31:00Right, okay. I would go with some of you right, right.

31:04Just just I need to pause and reflect and and try and and try and process why why why asking questions is so difficult. Right. Okay. Right, reask me the question. Right. Should we go again? Yeah. Should we go again, right? Yeah. If you had to pick a celebrity to run your business, who would it be? Matthew McConaughey.

31:32Matthew McConaughey.

31:33Whatever it's called, yeah, yeah. Matthew McConaughey.

31:40So what qualities do you think that he would bring to your business? I think he's uh very light-minded. Light-minded or like-minded thing. In my thought process. Okay. He's very spiritual, reflective, he seems very calm. He's not very scouse. It doesn't need to be. Okay. Do you trust a non-scouse though with you? Yeah, yeah.

32:08Somewhat like yeah, because uh I'm quite a spiritual guy. I'm not a religious guy, but I'm a spiritual guy. I'm quite calm unless you like throwing questions at me and then they go, but no, in terms of my business-wise, I'll be quite calm and stuff. So yeah, and I think he would have a similar sort of knowledge to my business as I do. So that's why I'd pick him. What about yourself, sir?

32:39Or somebody running my business.

32:40Well, I know you're gonna probably pick, but go on.

32:46I never thought about it. It's it's a difficult one. Who who would I trust to run my business?

32:58Celebrity, by the way.

33:00Well, yeah, but I mean anybody anybody can be a celeb, right? Oh, oh now you've changed. And the famous like it's can okay, so can a CEO of a company who's well known be classed as a celeb? Yeah, they can. Like someone like Stephen Bartlett, is he a celeb?

33:20Well, so this is the sort of question I asked you before. You've just put it in a different way.

33:24Yeah, but you're you're you you've asked me the question now, so now I'm trying to.

33:27So I've had to pick somebody like famous as in the city.

33:31I don't know, probably probably someone like Stephen Bartlett, who's had multiple successful businesses, seems to know quite a lot about getting investment, getting interest in in your business, and um it's quite worldly in business terms, even though he's he's still reasonably young. I wouldn't want some old fucking fossil. Because it's like, yeah, you you if you had your day back there, you may have made your millions back there. Technology age is like a fucking dark, it's like seven years per year, right? So it needs to be somebody who's reasonably young and understands is down with the kids. Right, okay.

34:09Did you think I was gonna go with? I thought you would have gone with like Steve Jobs or something like that. Steve Jobs is dad. Yeah, we didn't say he had to be alive.

34:17Well, that's stupid. How's he gonna run my business for a coffee?

34:19You just said a celebrity. Yeah. Which celebrity would you like to run your business?

34:23Well, it's sort of like pretty much guaranteed. I mean, someone that's alive. You know what I mean? How oh yeah, boardroom decisions. Your your thoughts on that, Mr. Mr. Jobs. Well, I just thought you were just talking in general.

34:36I thought you were talking like hypothetically, not as in someone who's gonna come and knock on your door and say, I'll take over your business for you, gal.
